New Studio
Now Playing: All is my own dream...
It is November and my new studio in Litchfield Park, Arizona is wonderful with a view of the White Tank Mountains and lots of natural light from the desert sun making rainbows from the crystals I have hanging in studio window. I'm finishing two Stone of Light Ashworks this month and have the last of my free offer orders to fill next month. I call my new studio, "Earth Friendly Art Studio" because I can pick desert flowers for my Ashwork and bury my Bio-Ashwork in the desert without leaving a footprint. I can ride my mountain bike out to my favorite Palo Verde tree where I hang my hammock and dream about my new Ashwork Design concepts. It truely is going to be a wonderful New Year! Happy Holidays to all creatures great and small on this wonderful planet we call home.

Now Playing: Stone of Light Ashwork
Well November is here and I'm in the process of finishing two more orders of SOL Ashwork in my new studio in Litchfield Park, Arizona. Yes, I have relocated once again, but this time I believe I will be there for a long time. Bigger space to work with lots of natural light from the desert sun. I have a beautiful view of the White Tank Mountains and can ride my mountain bike through the desert to my favorite Palo Verdie tree and hand in my hammock from the new studio. I call my new place the "Earth Friendly Art Studio" because I can pick deset flowers to put into my Organic Ashwork or bury a Bio-Ashwork out there as a memorial tribute without leaving a footprint on the sacred earth. Which by the way I will be taking a drive up to Sedona, Arizona to bury one of my Bio-Ashworks next week, per the request of a customer. Things are looking bright for Ashwork Design Concepts and all is my own dream.......

Ripleys Believe it or Not!
Now Playing: Petstone Ashwork
Believe it of Not! Ripley's Entertainment has purchased a work of art titled, "Reptile Evolution" made with generic animal bone fragments and reptile feet. It will be displayed at their Orlando, Florida museum early next year 2011. I'm also being published in the Ripley's Believe it or Not encyclopedia under weird artwork. But my cremation memorial Ashwork is not that weird. I see it as an aftercare memorial art service for pets and humans! Stay tuned for more news about my weird art!

End of Free Offer
Mood:  blue
Now Playing: Thanks for the Donations!

It was a very good year for Stone of Light Ashworks. After the AOL article, I received more orders than ever. Enough to keep me busy till the end of the year! I wish to thank everyone for participating in my free offer, and donating what they could toward the cost of materials used in the Ashwork. Truly a labor of love, and I may offer it again next year in 2011. So stay tuned folks.

Best regards, Ashwork Design Concepts

"Windows of Light" by Ashwork Design

Installing hand cut stained glass behind free form sculpted windows or portals with a corded light bar, battery operated LED (Light Emiting Diodes) or solar cells with LED installed behind canvas to light up the stained glass. All the same enhancements available with this custom work. Same as traditional Petstone design the pets ashes (cremains) will be mixed into our organic medium and hand sculpted. This offer can also replace the Terastone Vault, but cremain bag area will not have any "glass windows". However Dicroic glass can be installed in that area for colored reflection if desired at extra cost per installation. Please call for more information on this new Ashwork Design. http://www.terastone.net or petstone.net

Zoo Country
Mood:  amorous
Now Playing: Arizona

The red earth of Arizona has been used to tint my organic mixture (medium) pink and it has a clear coat with metalic highlights to accent the red earth of Arizona. I add stained glass and light bars behind the sculpted work as accent lighting. This is a new Ashwork Design product I will be offering. Natural earth tones will be used in coming works including the green earth of Oaxaca! Stay tuned, more exciting works to come!
